Chili was able to shed her "Elizabethan" collar today after the HSMO vet determined that her leg wound had healed sufficiently. He let me keep it just encase she starts licking at it again. She had also started scooting her bottom across my floors. Turns out, her anal glands were blocked up and had to be "expressed." to relieve the pressure. The vet said there was a lot of stuff in them, and we'll leave it at that. He examined an old scar and noted "She's the kind of dog that goes through things, rather than around them." That's my dog!
She did better at obedience class today. Her command response is better but her walking definitely needs work. The trainers gave me a special collar to keep Chili from pulling at her leash.
Yearly eye exam today: no problems found!
