I hope the weather where you are was as pleasant as it was here this weekend! I took advantage of the sunny skies and mid-60s temperatures yesterday. A new section of Grant's Trail opened late last fall but I never got a chance to ride it. I took a couple of hours yesterday afternoon and rode it all the way to the end. It formerly stopped at the northern edge of Grant's Farm but now extends through the suburbs of Crestwood and southern Kirkwood. A really nice ride! I got in a little head start on the spring yardwork after I got back.
Any March Madness folks out there? This year's field of 64 has been assembled. Illinois and SIU-Carbondale made it in but Mizzou never had a chance. They left their game in Columbia and got embarrassed by the Baylor Bears in their first conference tournament game. If the NIT comes calling, I'd turn them down based on that sorry effort.
Yes, DST came early this year but I'm not complaining. I think I welcome the extra hour of daylight. It's not officially spring for a few mores weeks but as the song says, it might as well be spring...
I submitted my taxes a couple of weeks ago; my refunds are essentially the same as in previous years. I have the funds earmarked for some exterior home improvements and maybe a new computer this year.
