So my lil' red Mazda6 passed its safety and emissions inspections with flying colors. I proceeded to the DOR license office to do the renewal. I had all the supporting paperwork that the Show Me Proof law required to verify my citizenship. So what happened? The unsmiling clerk immediately handed me back my passport and recent utility bill! She verified the inspections, insurance, and property tax receipts, then collected my 2-year renewal fee (because I SO DO NOT WANT TO DO THIS AGAIN NEXT YEAR) and sent me on my way with two shiny 09 stickers.
I feel ripped off, somehow.
