Meetup.com

The newspaper ran a piece last week about a local volunteer group that formed at Meetup.com. I checked it out and signed up for that group and several other social groups. I'll report on my experience if I ever take part in an event.

I looked at Meetup a lot during the last presidential election. I think it would be better in the city where more people participate. Good luck!
