OK, so my *free* copy of the TaxCut software actually isn't so free after all. I started installing it tonight and it turns out that, yes, the software is on the CD but....
.....have your credit or debit card ready to cover the $29.95 to unlock it from the CD. Yep, all they've done here is save me a trip to Best Buy to purchase it.
What your daddy told you is true, folks; if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
